Reading botanical research with context
When reading about oregano or another botanical, distinguish an ingredient study from a study of a specific finished supplement. The name of a plant alone does not establish that two products are equivalent.
Useful questions include: What ingredient was tested? How was it prepared? Who participated? What did the researchers measure? Does the seller link to the original research rather than only summarizing a headline?
