Oil of oregano: understanding the supplement label

Oregano appears in food, traditional herbal practices, and modern supplements. These uses should not be treated as interchangeable. A culinary ingredient, a concentrated oil, and a finished softgel can have different compositions.
Compare the serving size, ingredient amounts, and other ingredients on the actual label. A product name or a headline is not enough to establish what is in a serving. Ask the manufacturer for clarification when an extract ratio or ingredient description is unclear.
Traditional use is part of an ingredient’s history, not proof that a finished product treats an infection. Resilia supplements are not a substitute for prescribed antibiotics or medical care.
